• Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons, primarily at Key Stage 5.
• Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of economic theories and contemporary global issues.
• Encourage independent thinking, analytical skills, and debate.
• Prepare students for examination success through outstanding classroom practice.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and drive achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
• Support students with higher education and career aspirations in economics, finance, and related fields.
• Play an active role within the wider life of the school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving QTS.
• A degree in Economics or a closely related discipline.
• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for their specialist area.
• Experience teaching Economics at secondary or post-16 level, although ECTs are encouraged to apply.
• The ability to motivate, challenge, and inspire students of all abilities.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• High expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
• A commitment to raising standards and promoting academic excellence.
• A genuine passion for helping young people understand the economic forces shaping today's world.
