Teaching Assistant - Reception Class (Full-Time)

Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Lincoln for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class from 3rd September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education. You will work closely with the class teacher to create an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. The role is to support as a general classroom Teaching Assistant.

The Role
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years learning activities.
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to develop their learning and confidence.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning.
  • Help maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Assist with classroom preparation, observations, and daily routines.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has previous experience working with children in an Early Years or primary school setting.
  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Has a patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Is reliable, adaptable, and passionate about making a positive impact in education.
