# Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Pupil Premium Support - Walcott Primary School## Job Introduction Walcott Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching  Assistant Level 2 to provide targeted support for our pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding. This is an exciting opportunity to join our welcoming and supportive team in our rural primary school setting.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the wider school  team to deliver high-quality interventions and pastoral support, helping children to  thrive both academically and emotionally.

** Key responsibilities will include:*
* • Delivering spelling and mathematics interventions, including Number Stacks  programmes.  
• Providing pastoral support to individual pupils.  
• Supporting children through small-group interventions and targeted learning  activities.  
• Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement in school life.  
• Contributing to the inclusive and nurturing ethos of our school community.
We are looking for someone who:  
• Has experience of supporting children in a primary school setting.  
• Can deliver effective intervention programmes in English and mathematics.  
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.  
• Is caring, flexible and committed to ensuring every child achieves their full  potential.  
• Shares our passion for providing a rich and inclusive education.
