The Lincoln Medical School is proud to have successfully completed teaching of its first cohort of Gateway Year medical students, with the first year of the five-year medical degree starting from September 2026. We are committed to delivering outstanding education and producing highly skilled, empathetic and professional doctors who meet regional and national workforce needs.

To support our new case-based, clinically integrated curriculum, we are seeking to appoint three part-time (0.1 FTE) Case-Based Learning Facilitators who will work with student groups on Monday mornings. Working alongside other academic staff, the successful candidates will be enthusiastic about learning and committed to collaborative practice and teamwork. In the first year of the role, in addition to facilitating student learning, they will also contribute to writing of the clinical cases and guidance for facilitators.

Applications are welcomed from medically-qualified individuals as well as those from other healthcare and cognate disciplines. The salary offered is on the University of Lincoln’s grade 7 scale. Salary matching to clinical pay scales is not offered.
