About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Skills & Education Co-ordinator to join Engineering Energy client in Lincoln. This is a key role supporting the delivery and continuous development of early careers programmes, including apprenticeships, internships, graduate schemes, and wider skills development initiatives.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, training providers, and educational institutions, you will help ensure training programmes are delivered effectively and remain compliant with Ofsted and Department for Education (DfE) requirements. You will also act as deputy to the Skills & Education Manager and serve as the second nominee during Ofsted inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate apprenticeship, internship, and graduate development programmes
    .
  • Design, develop, and monitor training programmes in line with Ofsted and DfE regulations.
  • Liaise with colleges, universities, training providers, and external partners
    .
  • Monitor learner progress and ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and funding requirements.
  • Support preparation for Ofsted inspections and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide guidance on talent development, workforce upskilling, Safeguarding, and Prevent policies.
  • Deputise for the Skills & Education Manager when required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of skills and education strategies across the business.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

3 to 5 years' experience within an skills development or engineering training environment.

A minimum Level 4 qualification in Engineering, Learning & Development, or a related discipline.

Strong knowledge of:
  • Apprenticeship training delivery / Apprenticeship Standards / End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Government-funded training programmes
  • Previous experience supporting or participating in Ofsted inspections.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding and Prevent requirements.

A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across locations when required.
