You will be working within SEN settings supporting pupils with a range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SEMH and behavioural needs. Some pupils may also require complex care, so confidence, patience and a caring approach are essential.

The Role

  • Helping pupils to engage with learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Assisting with personal care and complex care needs where required.
  • Working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working in an SEN, education, care or support-based role is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
  • Patient, empathetic and resilient, with a calm approach to challenging situations.

  • Reliable and committed to working full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Willing to work on a supply basis initially, with the opportunity to secure a full-time, permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within specialist education while potentially securing a long-term, permanent role.
