This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful school as we continue to build on a glowing ISI inspection report and record-breaking examination results.
We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of English to teach to the highest standards and contribute to our English team within the Languages faculty and our busy co-curricular programme outside of the classroom. We expect this position to be worked on a part‑time basis and is fixed‑term for 1 academic year. Days and hours are negotiable.
The successful candidate will deliver exciting and engaging English lessons that inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love of the subject. They will support excellent academic outcomes and foster resilience and problem‑solving skills in pupils.
The role will involve teaching timetables for KS3 and KS4. Any experience teaching iGCSE (CIE IGCSE) is welcomed. Candidates without CIE IGCSE experience will find the texts largely familiar, and full support will be given. This role is ideal for a reflective practitioner who is well organised, adaptable, and committed to nurturing young people.
The start date for this role is asap; however, we are willing to wait for the right candidate with a start date of January 2027.
