The School of Creative Arts and Design at the University of Lincoln is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer in Photography to join our creative community on a 0.5 FTE basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging academic or experienced photography practitioner looking to take their first substantive role in higher education.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about photography, contemporary visual culture, and creative education. You will contribute to the delivery and development of our BA Photography programme, helping students develop the creative, technical, and professional skills needed to thrive in today's photographic industries.

You will:

  • Teach and assess across photography modules.
  • Support students through tutoring, project supervision, and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
  • Develop your own scholarly, creative, or professional practice.
  • Build links with industry, professional bodies, and external partners.

You should have:

  • A relevant honours degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Higher education teaching experience or significant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary photographic practice and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning.
