The Supply Register is recruiting a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant to work full-time at William Lovell Academy
.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic individual with strong Maths skills to support students in improving their attainment, confidence, and engagement within the subject.

As a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The role will involve delivering small-group interventions, supporting pupils in lessons, and helping students overcome barriers to learning in Mathematics.

• Provide classroom support within Maths lessons
• Deliver targeted interventions and booster sessions
• Support students on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Help pupils build confidence and improve attainment in Mathematics
• Assist teaching staff with lesson preparation and resources
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required

• Strong Maths knowledge and confidence supporting secondary-aged pupils
• Experience working with young people in an education, tutoring, coaching, or similar setting
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
