Level 2-3 Freelance Health & Social Care Tutor – Lincolnshire
Learning Curve Group is seeking experienced and passionate  Freelance Health and Social Care Tutors  to join our Adult Skills provision. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, classroom-based training and support to learners undertaking a range of Health, Social Care, Mental Health, and SEND-related qualifications.
The successful candidate will deliver one or more of the following programmes:
Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills
Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health
Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the Principles of Dementia Care
Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes
Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Autism
Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs
Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of End-of-Life Care
This role is  classroom-based  and requires tutors to deliver engaging face-to-face learning sessions that support learners in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to achieve their qualifications and progress within the health and care sector.
The successful candidate will have recent occupational experience within Health and Social Care, Mental Health, SEND, Counselling, or a related field, alongside a passion for supporting learners to achieve their personal and professional goals.
What is a Freelance Tutor at LCG?
A Freelance Tutor is a self-employed professional who delivers training on an ad-hoc basis. You will work on behalf of Learning Curve Group, delivering engaging short courses and vocational qualifications to adult learners aged 19+ within your area of occupational expertise. You will play an important role in helping learners develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to achieve their goals and progress into employment or further learning.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching, Learning and Assessment
Deliver engaging, high-quality face-to-face teaching sessions across the designated Health and Social Care qualifications.
Create an inclusive, supportive, and learner-centred environment that promotes participation and achievement.
Assess learner performance and provide relevant underpinning knowledge to ensure qualification requirements are met.
Provide timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to support learner progression and achievement.
Monitor learner progress and implement appropriate intervention strategies where required.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners with differing abilities, learning styles, and support requirements.
Ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment activities meet awarding organisation standards and internal quality requirements.
Essential Requirements
3+ Years of Occupational competence within your subject area
Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS/CAVA/TAQA etc)
Comfortable with travel within the region
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
About the role
Freelance Contract (0 hours per week, Ad Hoc)
£18 per hour
Based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & East Lindsey
Looking for someone to deliver a minimum of 1-2 days per week (Monday-Friday)
Typical delivery hours: 9:00-15:00
Level 2 cohort delivery can take up to 5 working days (average)
