Job Description & How to Apply Below
About Operation Wallacea Operation Wallacea is an organisation that runs biological and conservation research expeditions in some of the most remote and biodiverse locations on the planet. Our programmes bring together leading academics, university students, school students and volunteers to conduct vital long-term and large-scale biodiversity research and conservation work.

To date, data from our expeditions have contributed to over 740 scientific papers, helping to identify areas requiring protection, develop conservation strategies and train the next generation of field scientists.

Our school expeditions fund the entire research programme and give students the chance to work alongside scientists on real research projects, from tropical forests to coral reefs, and for many it is the experience that shapes what they go on to study.
