A Snapshot of Your DayJoin our multi-disciplined team as a Mechanical Test Fitter, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining test facilities and performing installation and performance testing of gas turbines. Working within a DSEAR-controlled environment, you will connect gas turbines to test rigs, fuel supplies, lubricating oil and pneumatic systems, inlet and exhaust ducting, output shafts, and instrumentation. Collaborating with your team, you will run performance tests to industry standards, ensuring that our operations meet the highest quality benchmarks.

- You will carry out mechanical fitting activities to exacting standards, ensuring detailed documentation is maintained throughout the process.
- Uphold the highest level of health and safety by working in line with Zero Harm principles, prioritizing safety in every task.
- Support production, development, and other departmental activities as required, contributing to a seamless workflow.
- Actively contribute to business improvements and maintain a high-quality working environment, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Adapt to work shift patterns as required to meet program demands, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the team.
- Experience in a relevant mechanical industry, preferably with exposure to rotating equipment, showcasing your technical expertise.
- A recognized full Level 3 apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or Technical Certificate in a relevant engineering field.
- A keen attention to detail to achieve precision in all assembly work, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- A strong safety and quality-driven mindset, complemented by a collaborative approach to teamwork and problem-solving.

We focus on zero or low-emission power generation, encompassing all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof.
