Multi-skilled Engineer (WA-CPP-LN6) Lincoln, England
Salary: GBP
45000 per annum
Location: LN6, Lincoln
Salary: £45,000 per year
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (6:00am – 6:00pm)
Full-time | Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll support the delivery of an effective maintenance programme, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.
You’ll play a key role in planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, while also contributing to continuous improvement projects and supporting site-wide engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production equipment
- Provide a rapid and effective response to production breakdowns
- Support business objectives and achieve site KPIs
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
- Assist with engineering projects, installations, and improvement activities
- Ensure effective use of engineering stores and control of costs
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety
- Accurately record maintenance activities, downtime, and incidents
- Support the management of contractors on site
- Assist in maintaining site services and technical documentation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Conduct pre-start safety checks on machinery and work areas
- Support risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Promote a strong safety culture, challenging unsafe behaviours where necessary
- Ensure compliance with environmental, ethical, and energy policies
- Contribute to a workplace culture focused on safety, sustainability, and wellbeing
- Apprentice-trained or relevant engineering qualifications
- Electrical and mechanical experience (multi-skilled)
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Competitive salary of £45,000 per year
- Structured 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days only)
