We're looking for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering end-to-end overhaul of package equipment across a global supply network.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring critical equipment is restored, optimised, and ready to support ongoing service and maintenance operations.
The RoleAs a Package Repair Coordinator, you will manage the full overhaul lifecycle of large capital equipment
, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
You’ll also support ad-hoc customer overhauls and contribute to breakdown support within the service business, while identifying new opportunities to expand overhaul utilisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end overhaul processes for package equipment within the supply network
- Coordinate with Aftermarket Planning, Engineering, Finance, Warehousing, and Returns teams
- Identify and select suitable external vendors to ensure best technical and commercial outcomes
- Lead tendering activities
, including supplier engagement and cost negotiations - Oversee vendor performance, maintaining regular progress tracking and touchpoints
- Review inspection reports and revised quotations
, driving cost optimisation where possible - Negotiate pricing and explore cost-saving opportunities (e.g. free issue sub-assemblies)
- Attend witness testing when required (occasional travel may be needed)
- Review and approve final documentation prior to equipment dispatch
- Support customer-owned equipment overhauls and service-related breakdowns
- Strong engineering background – ideally with hands‑on or practical experience
- A self‑starting, dynamic individual capable of working independently
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with multiple departments
- Experience in vendor management, tendering, and commercial negotiation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware with a focus on cost efficiency and value delivery
- Key role within a critical repair and service function
