Understanding of configuration control and engineering baselines. Ability to investigate technical problems and develop practical engineering solutions. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage complex technical issues and balance priorities across multiple projects. A degree in a technology, engineering or science-related discipline, or equivalent relevant qualifications where accepted by the employer.
Relevant Technical Experience Experience in several of the following areas would be beneficial: COTS hardware, particularly blade servers and PC-based technology. COTS cabinets, cabinet design and hardware configuration. Wiring schedules and power distribution. Hardware design and electrical engineering. Dell and Juniper hardware. Naval platform installation. Environmental testing and hardware acceptance processes. Product safety and environmental requirements within engineering project plans.
The Team You will join a small, dedicated and high-performing hardware configuration team responsible for preparing COTS equipment for delivery directly to naval platforms.
