Overview
Accountant (EMEA) — Full-time | Lincoln (Hybrid) | Finance | RFMW
Are you a qualified accountant who enjoys owning the numbers, influencing decisions, and bringing clarity to a complex, fast-moving business?
Responsibilities- Lead the month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany and supplier accounts.
- Support statutory accounts, audit, and corporation tax, acting as a key contact for auditors and external advisors.
- Ensure Intrastat and statistical compliance, maintaining accurate customs data.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, partnering with budget holders to improve financial understanding and accountability.
- Develop and report on financial and non-financial KPIs, providing ad hoc analysis to drive operational and commercial improvement.
- Play a key role in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Liaise with payroll providers and collaborate with Sales leadership on quarterly incentive payments.
You will be ACCA / ACMA qualified (or equivalent) with:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management accounting role, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
- Strong experience working with multiple currencies.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong technical accounting capability.
- The confidence to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- A structured, resilient approach in a deadline-driven environment.
Experience in electronics or distribution, Sage Intacct, German GAAP, or US GAAP is advantageous but not essential.
The role includes occasional travel in the region.
