Senior Derivatives Counsel

The Senior Derivatives Counsel will be a key member of the investment bank's legal team with a focus on equity derivatives, ISDA trading documentation, and other legal matters with room to expand into other areas.
Main Responsibilities:

• Provide legal coverage to the equities sales and trading business, with an emphasis on equity derivatives and structured equity finance transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate trading documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, credit support annexes (initial and variation margin), master confirmations, and related agreements
• Advise on regulatory requirements impacting derivatives transactions, including uncleared margin rules and other applicable frameworks
• Support trading activity across a variety of products, including equity swaps, options, and forwards
• Draft and negotiate securities financing documentation, such as MRAs and MSLAs, and contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized templates
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Credit, Market Risk, Collateral, Operations, and related functions to address legal, documentation, and risk considerations
• Provide legal support across a broader suite of equity-linked products, including structured notes, corporate equity derivatives (., ASRs and issuer forward transactions), custom indices, quantitative investment strategies, and more bespoke solutions
