The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional levels of service and administrative excellence across the business. The Opportunity As a Senior Client Services Specialist, you will manage complex post-sale administration across a broad range of financial planning cases. Working closely with Advisers and Paraplanners, you will ensure business is processed efficiently, accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
You will also act as a source of support and guidance for colleagues, helping to develop specialist administration skills and promote best practice.
Key Responsibilities Complex Case Administration Manage post-sale administration for complex financial planning cases. Maintain accurate client records and create/update wealth management reports. Obtain and prepare specialist information, including CETVs, illustrations, Letters of Authority and provider documentation. Submit new business and review applications to providers via online platforms and manual processes. Monitor and progress cases through to completion, ensuring timely implementation. Maintain client files in accordance with compliance standards, including MiFID and GDPR requirements.
Client Service & Quality Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering a professional and responsive service. Support the resolution of client queries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner. Assist with basic suitability report writing, including reviews, Bed & ISA transactions, fund switches and withdrawal cases. Liaise with major investment and pension providers to efficiently manage client cases.
Skills & Experience Required Essential Minimum 2 years' experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) environment. Good understanding of the financial planning process, including MiFID and GDPR.
Experience with investment and pension platforms, including:
New business submissions Withdrawals Sell-downs Phasing transactions Experience using XPlan, Intelligent Office or a similar back-office system.
