Ward Manager

Join our dynamic team at The Vales, a 15‑bed rehabilitation unit at Discovery House, which is undergoing an exciting transformation into a level 2 mental health unit. We are seeking an experienced inpatient ward manager who is dedicated to delivering relational and trauma‑informed care.

• Manage and hold 24‑hour responsibility for the provision of clinical care and all aspects of operational management on a ward.
• Co‑ordinate and make effective use of staff, supervise staff and ensure training is maintained.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and provide clinical leadership for staff.
• Ensure cost‑effective use of resources and the delivery of compassionate, safe and effective care to patients placed on the ward.
