As a Patient Experience Officer, youll play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel heard, supported, and valued. Youll manage complaints, patient feedback, and subject access requests with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail, while contributing to service improvements across the organisation.
Main duties of the job- Receive, log, and manage patient complaints in line with internal policies
- Acknowledge complaints sensitively and within agreed timescales
- Investigate and respond to Stage 1 complaints
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date complaint records
- Provide telephone support to patients and the Patient Experience Team
- Monitor and respond to online patient feedback (e.g. Trustpilot)
- Process Subject Access Requests in compliance with GDPR
- Identify themes and trends in feedback to support service improvement
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve patient concerns
- Support additional tasks within the Patient Experience Team as required

Person Specification Experience- Strong IT skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in customer service, administration, or complaint handling
- Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
