Support Worker - Adults Supported Living

📍 Lincoln

We are looking for compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our Supported Living Service in Lincoln, supporting adults with learning disabilities and behavioural needs to live meaningful, independent lives. If you have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, with a focus on therapeutic integration and meaningful activity, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Details
  • Pay: ÂŁ12.40 per hour

  • Hours:

    Full-time & Part-time available
  • Driving Licence: UK driving licence preferred but not essential
What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, ensuring care is tailored to each person’s strengths, preferences, and goals
  • Actively promote independence, empowering individuals to make choices and develop daily living skills that enhance confidence and quality of life
  • Support individuals to engage in meaningful activities that reflect their interests, aspirations, and cultural needs, both within the home and in the wider community
  • Enable and encourage community integration, supporting individuals to access local services, education, employment opportunities, social groups, and leisure activities
  • Work with individuals to help create and maintain a safe, structured, and person-centred living environment, supporting emotional regulation, wellbeing, and positive routines
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including:
    • Medication administration
    • Cooking and meal preparation
    • Cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
    • Accurate record keeping and paperwork
  • Support the development of life skills, independence plans, and personalised outcomes, working collaboratively with families, professionals, and the wider care team
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience supporting individuals with:
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Learning disabilities
    • Mental health needs
  • Demonstrable experience delivering meaningful activities and promoting independence in a Supported Living or similar setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of challenging behaviours, with experience using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
  • Confidence in supporting individuals to integrate into their local community and build meaningful social connections
  • Ability to contribute to creating a person-centred, safe, and therapeutic environment that promotes dignity, choice, and wellbeing
  • Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • A compassionate, positive, and resilient approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
