Occupational Therapist – Adult Care (Level
2)

Location:

Grantham (Southwest locality – North and South Kesteven). Permanent, full‑time. Salary: £39,152–£42,839 per year. Flexible working.

We are seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to support adults with care and support needs to live independently in the community. The role involves assessment, equipment provision, environmental adaptations, and multi‑agency collaboration. You will travel across the area and may travel outside the county.

• Provide statutory professional occupational therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct functional assessments, including moving and handling, and recommend equipment and environmental adaptations.
• Establish therapeutic relationships and support people in achieving desired outcomes.
• Manage a complex caseload with supervision from the Lead Practitioner.
• Identify and promote strengths‑based solutions and independence opportunities.
• Develop a special interest area such as moving and handling, learning disabilities, equipment, housing or transition and support peers when appropriate.

• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification practice experience.
• Enhanced knowledge of relevant legislation underpinning statutory adult care practice and occupational therapy.

• Professional occupational therapy qualification (Diploma or Degree).
• Current HCPC registration.

• Working knowledge of occupational therapy theory, research and evidence‑based practice.

This post requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
