Health Care Assistant

Full-Time | Part-Time | Bank | Permanent

We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.

Available Role:
Lincoln LN4

Client:
Supporting a male adult with Cerebral Palsy who is a wheelchair user.

Hours:

8:30 PM- 8:00AM Pay: £12.71 – £14.29 per hour

About the role Role-Specific Responsibilities
  • Moving & handling and repositioning
  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Community access (client has a wheelchair-accessible vehicle – drivers essential)
  • Companionship and emotional support

Duties include:

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activitiesli>
  • Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate care documentation
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families
  • Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For
  • Caring nature and genuine desire to help others
  • 6+ months care experience (essential)
  • Knowledge of epilepsy & challenging behaviour (preferred)
  • A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Basic IT skills for completing documentation
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
