We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly team of established carers who support a young lady in her family home and at school (which she attends a minimum of four days a week).Our client loves to have people around her who are high-energy, fun, and do not mind being a little silly, while always keeping her well-being at the centre of everything they do.

She is an incredible young lady who has an acquired brain injury and requires support with all activities of daily living, including personal care, medication administration, the administration of feeds, and therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy.

The role will involve overseeing all health-related and social support, including all aspects of her health, well-being, and therapies as required.

We are keen for the ideal candidate to support our client both at home and in school as a Teaching Assistant dedicated solely to her, on a supply TA contract directly with the school.

We are looking for carers who can deliver person-centred care in line with a personalised care plan created specifically to meet the needs of our individual client.

You will need to be an excellent team player, as two Healthcare Assistants are rostered for each shift.

You will also be fully supported by our highly skilled Nurse Manager, who is on hand to guide the team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered while providing each team member with an excellent pathway for professional development.

We are looking for carers with experience in the following; however, this is not essential, as thorough training will be provided:

• Deep suctioning
• Chest clearance programme
• Seizure management
• Medication administration
• Teaching Assistant
• Catheterisation
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Bowel care

All candidates MUST be drivers (manual driving licence) and be 21 years of age or over, as this client loves going out and about, engaging with her community and beyond.
