Digital​/Web Officer

We are looking for a talented and proactive Web / Digital Officer to join our Corporate Policy & Service Improvement team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and improve the Councils digital presence, ensuring our website and intranet delivers accessible, user‑focused information and services.

You’ll be part of a forward‑thinking team driving digital innovation across the Council. We offer development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and the chance to make a real impact on how residents access services.

• Develop, maintain and enhance the Council’s website and intranet using best practices in web design and accessibility.
• Lead on content quality and usability, providing training and support to content authors and publishers.
• Analyse site performance and user trends, producing actionable reports for service improvement.
• Manage medium to large‑scale web development projects and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Act as the main point of contact for all web and intranet content issues, working closely with the Service improvement team and Communications as well as other teams across the Council.
