Temp IT Project Manager – Hybrid

Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well‑established organisation who are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis, initially for approx. 6 months, however there is a strong possibility of extending further.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results‑driven professional with experience delivering IT and digital change initiatives within structured portfolio environments. The successful candidate will be confident working autonomously, managing multiple priorities, and delivering projects at pace across both agile and waterfall methodologies.

• Previous experience delivering IT and digital change projects within a Project Manager role
• Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and project governance effectively
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skill
• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities within fast‑moving environments
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
• Professional and outcome‑focused approach to delivery
• Lead the delivery of IT and digital change projects aligned to organisational priorities and strategic outcomes
• Manage and progress IT‑enabled change initiatives within a structured governance framework
• Build strong relationships between technical teams and business stakeholders to support effective collaboration and decision‑making
• Monitor project delivery, ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are proactively managed
• Maintain accurate governance, reporting, and project controls to ensure transparency and assurance
• Drive delivery performance within fast‑paced environments, ensuring projects remain on track
• Support accountability across project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
