Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Data Migration Lead to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations.

As an SAP Data Migration Lead, you will lead the end-to-end transition of legacy enterprise data from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4

HANA across international business units. In this role, you will define migration strategies, oversee data cleansing and governance, and direct Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) execution to ensure complete data integrity. Working closely with global cross-functional teams, you will manage risk, conduct rigorous validation testing, and maintain audit-compliant documentation to deliver a seamless system rollout with minimal operational disruption.

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

* Led end-to-end data migration strategy and project execution for a large-scale SAP ECC6 to S/4

HANA upgrade across global cluster operations.

* Defined data object scope, ownership models, source-to-target mapping, and migration schedules in collaboration with cross-functional business leads.

* Conducted comprehensive legacy data assessments to establish scope, risk mitigation plans, and cluster-level readiness benchmarks.

* Directed cluster-wide data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment initiatives, significantly improving master data quality prior to migration.

* Partnered with Master Data Governance, Data Migration Factory, and local Data Stewards to align data standards and compliance protocols.

* Validated migration tools, Data Object Maps (DOMs), and technical infrastructure to ensure seamless extraction and transformation workflows.

* Oversaw Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) operations, ensuring accurate dataset conversions from legacy systems into SAP S/4

HANA.

* Executed rigorous post-migration data validation, unit testing, and reconciliation processes to verify data integrity and system accuracy.

* Resolved complex data transformation errors during execution cycles to minimize business downtime and prevent operational disruptions.

* Authored detailed migration logs, technical documentation, and audit trails to comply with corporate governance and regulatory standards.

Essential Requirements:

* Proven experience managing end-to-end data migration lifecycle, specifically transitioning from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4

HANA.

* Demonstrated success leading data stream operations on complex, multi-site, or global enterprise software rollouts.

* Strong ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural teams, business stakeholders, local Data Stewards, and central Data Migration teams.

* Hands-on proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) methodologies, data profiling, deduplication, and pre-migration data enrichment.

* Familiarity with standard SAP data migration tools (e.g., SAP S/4

HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, LSMW, or Advanced Data Migration by Syniti).

* Expertise in defining data object scope, creating Data Object Maps (DOMs), establishing data ownership, and source-to-target schema mapping.

* Strong analytical skills to diagnose migration errors, perform data reconciliation, and resolve ETL discrepancies under tight project deadlines.

* Ability to create detailed migration schedules, manage project risks, and maintain detailed documentation for audit and compliance standards.

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent experience.…
