Overview

Responsibilities- Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain stock accuracy, manage SAP, perform regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits. - Warehouse Operations:
Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, picking, and packing of goods; ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards. - Transportation Coordination:
Plan, manage, and coordinate outbound shipments with internal teams, suppliers, and external carriers. - Documentation and Compliance:
Manage and maintain shipping documentation, product documentation, records, and files; prepare packing lists, commercial invoices, and export documentation for controlled goods. - Supplier and Customer Relations:
Communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Experience:
Proven logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management experience; experience in both areas is preferred for this combined role. Familiarity with ERP/MRP software, preferably SAP. - Organizational
Skills:
Excellent planning, time management, and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. - Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and critical thinking to identify and resolve issues such as shipping delays, damage, or stock discrepancies. - Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills to liaise with suppliers, drivers, customers, and management. - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous accuracy in orders, documentation, and record-keeping; familiarity with customs compliance and international shipping regulations. - Security Clearance:
Ability to gain full UK Security clearance as required for the role.
