Job Type: Part-Time | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start - temporary to permanent

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yardperson / Maintenance Operative to join one of our well-established clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, keeping busy, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

• Keeping the yard and premises clean, tidy and safe
• Litter picking, sweeping, weed removal and general yard maintenance
• Disposing of pallets and other waste appropriately
• Putting deliveries away into stores (fasteners, body fittings and other stock)
• Assisting with general housekeeping around the site
• Driving company vehicles between the main site and a nearby compound (approximately half a mile away)
• Running occasional local errands in company 3.5-tonne vehicles
• Supporting the existing Yardperson with daily tasks as required

• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
• Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for most of the day
• Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential
  -full training can be provided for the right candidate

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am - 3:00pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• 27.5 paid hours per week
• Some flexibility may be available
