About the Role As Site Manager, you will play a vital role in keeping our school safe, secure,and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors. From overseeing maintenance and repairs to managing cleaning standards and ensuring the security of the premises, you’ll take pride in creating an environment where learning can flourish. This is a hands-on, varied role that requires practical skills,strong organisation, and a proactive approach every day brings a new challenge and the chance to make a real difference.
- Ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance, keeping buildings and grounds in excellent condition.
- Supervise cleaning staff and maintain high standards of cleanliness acrossthe school. Weekly cleaning of the hall and additional Pod area of the school.
- Liaise with contractors, oversee works, and ensure compliance with health andsafety regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and take proactive steps to prevent issues.
- Support school lettings and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for all.
