We’re seeking an experienced General Sales Manager who can build on our strong foundations and guide this talented, motivated team to the next level. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established with a proven record of meeting both customer satisfaction and financial performance goals consistently.

We are offering a £45,000 basic salary with an OTE of £65,000 plus company car and company benefits.

About the role:

As a General Sales Manager, you will guide and support a team that includes 2 Business Managers and 8 Sales Executives. Your focus will be to create a consistent, well‑structured sales process through regular coaching, clear communication and active involvement in customer interactions.

You’ll have the chance to inspire both your team and customers with Volkswagen’s diverse product range — from cutting‑edge electric vehicles to iconic performance models such as the GTI and Golf R.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a strong track record in the motor industry. You will need to show your ability to improve sales performance, profitability and overall efficiency. Strong leadership and people‑support skills are essential, as your main responsibility is to help your team achieve their goals.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager
    , ideally in a main dealership
  • A collaborative, motivational leadership style with a passion for people and performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a commitment to ethical, customer‑focused practice.
  • Values‑driven, with integrity, resilience, and the ability to set clear goals for yourself and your team.
