Duties of the Parts Manager:

Lead and motivate the parts department team, fostering a collaborative environment
Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with current and future business objectives
Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and address any variances promptly
Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support team development
Maintain high standards of customer service through face-to-face and telephone communication
Ensure the parts department operates efficiently, optimising resource allocation
Collaborate effectively with other departments to support overall business success
Respond swiftly to changing business needs, maintaining agility in service delivery

Requirements of the Parts Manager:

Proven experience within the automotive parts industry, ideally as a Parts Manager or Parts Supervisor
Exceptional organisational skills, including high-level reporting and data analysis
Strong leadership qualities with an approachable and motivating leadership style
Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
