We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Parts Manager position based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This is a prominent opportunity for an experienced automotive parts professional to lead and develop the parts department within a reputable automotive retail centre. Duties of the Parts Manager:
  • Lead and motivate the parts department team, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with current and future business objectives
  • Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and address any variances promptly
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support team development
  • Maintain high standards of customer service through face-to-face and telephone communication
  • Ensure the parts department operates efficiently, optimising resource allocation
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to support overall business success
  • Respond swiftly to changing business needs, maintaining agility in service delivery
Requirements of the Parts Manager:
  • Proven experience within the automotive parts industry, ideally as a Parts Manager or Parts Supervisor
  • Exceptional organisational skills, including high-level reporting and data analysis
  • Strong leadership qualities with an approachable and motivating leadership style
  • Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
  • Enthusiasm for professional growth and a genuine passion for the automotive industry
