8:00pm – 5:00am
We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Stock Controller to join our Night Shift team. This role is critical in ensuring materials are accurately controlled, stored, and supplied to production, supporting smooth operations and inventory accuracy throughout the night.
About the Position
Working as part of the night operations team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials while maintaining high standards of safety, traceability, and stock accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Control and record all incoming materials.
* Identify damaged or non-conforming stock and escalate issues promptly.
* Perform daily stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
* Complete data entry and stock transactions using Microsoft systems.
* Manage material storage and packaging inventory.
* Supply production lines with materials throughout the shift.
* Prepare and issue materials for upcoming production schedules.
* Ensure all material areas remain clean, compliant, and audit-ready.
* Manage stock rotation and quarantined materials effectively.
* Follow all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures.
Skills & Experience Required Essential
* Good written and spoken English.
* Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
* Competent IT skills, including Microsoft systems and databases.
* Experience in stock control, materials management, or packaging operations.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving ability.
* Reliable attendance and timekeeping.
* Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Desirable
* Previous experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
