Quality Inspector

Overview

Quality Inspector role with Linde AMT UK Limited, Lincoln, United Kingdom. The position involves inspecting parts to customer drawings, ensuring paperwork accuracy and compliance with process documentation.

• Visually inspect parts to ensure they conform to the customer drawing and identify any anomalies.
• Inspect critical and sensitive aerospace parts as required.
• Understand inspection priorities within the department to meet production requirements and targets.
• Ensure paperwork is correct, confirming the customer drawing and the drawing issue status.
• Ensure process documents (OIS) are at the correct issue level and that the contract review has been carried out correctly.
• Review the areas to be coated and calculate the thickness required using the Process Document (PD) and customer drawing.
• Check completed parts against the customer drawing, job router and PD requirements.
• Raise NCRs (non-conformance reports) when required, inform appropriate departments and raise endorsements on outgoing paperwork.

• Experience in inspection within manufacturing, coating or aerospace industries.
• Proficiency with various measuring equipment, mathematical calculations and setup evolution for measuring purposes.
• Ability to prioritise work and adapt to changing production/quality demands.
• Ability to withstand pressures typical within a service industry from other departments.
• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Good vision and attention to detail.

Salary range: £28,000 - £32,000
