Are you an experienced Hygiene Team Leader or Hygiene Supervisor looking for your next challenge within a successful food manufacturing business?
We're working with a well-established and growing food manufacturer that is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and operational excellence.
As Hygiene Supervisor, you'll play a key role in leading the site's hygiene operation, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently achieved across the factory while supporting the development and performance of the hygiene team.
The Role
Supervise and support hygiene teams to ensure all cleaning activities are completed safely, effectively and to the highest standards
Drive a culture of hygiene excellence, food safety and continuous improvement across the site
Monitor hygiene performance, ensuring cleaning schedules, audits and deep-clean programmes are completed effectively
Support the implementation of site hygiene strategies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standards
Coach, train and develop team members, helping to build a motivated and high-performing team
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and environmental requirements
Work closely with Technical, Production and Engineering teams to support operational objectives
Support the management of third-party hygiene contractors where required
Ensure all hygiene documentation and records are completed accurately and maintained to the required standard
About You
Previous experience in a Hygiene Supervisor, Hygiene Team Leader or similar position within food manufacturing
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and Health & Safety requirements.
Experience leading, motivating and developing teams
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
