Working on a rotating 28-day shift pattern, you'll benefit from a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts alongside regular rest periods throughout the cycle.
The pattern provides a strong work-life balance while supporting a continuous manufacturing operation, offering excellent opportunities to gain experience across a variety of production environments and engineering challenges. Responsibilities Become part of a highly skilled engineering team supporting a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing operation. Work with a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, automation, and production systems within a modern FMCG environment. Support operational excellence across a site producing products enjoyed by consumers throughout the UK. Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering best practice. Criteria A recognised Engineering qualification, ideally supported by a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience. Experience gained within a manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, production, or similarly fast-paced environment. A strong interest in engineering excellence, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Exposure to automated equipment, modern manufacturing technologies, or production machinery would be beneficial. A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for developing both technical and professional skills.
