Head Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead a thriving, well-respected independent small animal practice in Lincoln. This is the perfect role for a passionate and clinically accomplished Head Vet who is ready to drive clinical excellence, inspire a talented team, and shape the future direction of a modern, forward-thinking veterinary surgery.

The successful candidate will join the senior management team as Head Vet, playing a pivotal role in shaping clinical standards, mentoring colleagues, and delivering a strategic vision focused on gold-standard, evidence-based veterinary care.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who:

This is a 4-day working week (39 hours) with a 1:4 weekend rota. There are no out-of-hours requirements, though the Head Vet will provide on-call support for any overnight inpatients when required.

The Lincoln surgery is the newest in the group and boasts outstanding, state-of-the-art facilities, including:

• Digital X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Dental X-ray
• In-house laboratory
• Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy
• Exotic pet care services

The team is highly skilled, with colleagues working towards certificates to further enhance clinical services. Collaboration, learning and professional development are embedded into the culture.
