The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a highly skilled quality team supporting advanced production operations. This role focuses on ensuring high standards across cleanroom manufacturing and testing processes, working on complex and precision-built equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with defined quality standards, supporting inspection activities, and promoting a strong quality-first culture across production environments.
Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance of production and testing activities with established quality standards and procedures Perform inspection and validation activities to confirm products meet design and build requirements Conduct Key Inspection Points (KIPs) and support critical inspection processes Identify and record non-conformities, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions Perform internal audits and documentation checks within cleanroom operations Support testing readiness, critical movements, and final product packing Maintain and monitor cleanroom standards, including health and safety and environmental controls Promote best practices and continuous improvement in quality and workmanship Requirements Experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and inspection techniques Ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications High attention to detail with a proactive approach Experience working within controlled environments (e.g. clean rooms) is desirable Knowledge of industry standards (such as ECSS or equivalent) would be advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams Additional Information Flexible working or shift patterns may be required depending on production needs Opportunities for career development and progression within the wider quality function Exposure to high-specification and technically advanced products Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
