Quality Control Assistant

As a Quality Control Assistant, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to quality control processes, ensuring products meet specified standards, conducting inspections, and reporting findings to management.

You will thrive under pressure and working in a fast-paced and busy environment within the seed industry. You will need to have good time management skills, good hygiene and housekeeping to avoid cross-contamination of products. A physical search of 2kg samples of seed from intakes and cleaned product will need to be carried out, which you will need a good eye for detail to ensure quality and legal standards are adhered to.

Although you will have full training, ideally you will have experience working within a similar role and our ideal candidate will have experience working with Seed/Cereals.

Other duties of the role may include:

• Weighing in and out of bulk trailers
• Check all paperwork is correct
• Sample incoming product from lorry
• Record all findings on QC report
• Check must meet current legal standards

You will work Monday to Friday, but flexibility is essential as it could require working up to 10 hours a day during peak season. We are looking for someone available to start from the 2nd week of July and commit to a continuous period of up to 12 consecutive weeks.

This role will suit someone who has worked in Quality Control/Quality assistant/Administrator/Data Entry/QA/QC before.
