Are you passionate about tackling health inequalities in rural and coastal communities? The Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH) at the University of Lincoln are seeking two ambitious Senior Research Associate's to join our expanding multidisciplinary team.
The Senior Research Associate will develop and sustain a dynamic programme of research focused on the unique challenges faced by rural and coastal populations. Working closely with leading researchers across health and care and engaging local people throughout the research lifecycle; both posts are independent researchers at the forefront of rural and coastal health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Lead and deliver high‑impact research projects
- Develop publication profile and secure external research funding
- Manage research assistants and associates, and supervise research students
- Contribute to curriculum development and the advancement of relevant discipline areas
- Collaborate with partners, healthcare providers, community groups, and other institutions to foster impactful research partnerships
You will have a strong track record of independent research with experience in rural, coastal, or health inequalities. You are proactive, collaborative, and committed to making real‑world impact within health and care.
