Business Development Representative

DescriptionAs a Business Development Representative at Forterro, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for promoting and selling Forterro's products and services. Your role will primarily involve telephonic interactions with potential customers, contributing to our growth and revenue targets.
Responsibilities- Initiate calls to potential customers from a list of provided leads, including existing customers targeted for cross/up‑selling, prior customers, and potential new customers.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relations by providing prompt and accurate services.
- Proactively sell targeted products/services as part of customer interactions.
- Identify customer needs and offer solutions that match Forterro's offerings.
- Work towards sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Respond to customer‑initiated calls to activate services, request changes in products/services, and resolve any product, service, or billing issues.
- Keep track of customer interactions and follow up to close sales effectively.
- Liaise with Forterro Finance teams as required for billing and other financial aspects of sales transactions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain records of sales activities, customer responses, and follow‑up actions.
- Report sales performance and any customer feedback to the management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field desired
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field desired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong phone presence and experience in telephonic sales.
- Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
