Current setup is weighted towards high commission up to 50% and a lower basic, but they are open to a higher basic and lower commission.

We are recruiting a
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
to join a well-established mortgage advice business based in the Lincoln area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who wants access to a strong mix of established lead sources, the support of an experienced administration function, and a highly rewarding commission structure. The successful person will help manage incoming business while gradually taking on part of an existing adviser’s client portfolio as the business plans for longer-term succession. You’ll support first-time buyers, home movers, remortgage customers and buy-to-let clients.

• Deliver high-quality mortgage advice across first-time buyer, home mover, remortgage and buy-to-let cases.
• Manage new enquiries and develop a healthy pipeline of business.
• Take on and nurture existing client relationships and introduced business.
• Conduct appointments through a blend of face-to-face meetings, telephone and Microsoft Teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients and professional introducers.
• Work closely with the existing advisers and dedicated administrator to ensure a smooth customer journey.

• Experienced in advising across a broad range of residential mortgage cases.
• Comfortable working with first-time buyers, home movers, remortgage clients and some buy-to-let business.
• Commercially motivated, with the ability to build and convert a strong pipeline.
• Client-focused and confident delivering both face-to-face and remote appointments.
• Based in, or within a commutable distance of, the Lincoln area.
• Happy to work closely with an office-based team and attend the office regularly.
• Interested in a fair, high-upside commission model rather than being solely driven by maximising basic salary.

For the right adviser - particularly someone leaving behind an established pipeline - there may also be scope to discuss short-term earnings support during the first
four to six months
while a new pipeline is being built.

arrangements can be considered, depending on the candidate’s preference and experience.
