Who are we looking for?We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer in Lincoln to be trained and required to work at several of our client’s premises to assist us with holiday and sickness cover, with a view to being allocated a fixed shift pattern when the opportunities arise. You will work various hours per week and be flexible to cover days, nights and weekends.

- A valid SIA Front‑Line License - essential
- A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle or reliable transport
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors to site are correctly briefed, signed in and out of the site.
- Record the entry and exit of delivery while on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
- Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards.
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable.
- Comply with site waste management procedures.
- Complete documents such as daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports.
- Maintain familiarity with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve.
- Maintain training records via Corps Colleague Portal to keep skills up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training per legislative guidelines.
- Continuously apply SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. SIA licence must always be displayed.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
