Position: Manual Handling/Forklift ASAP Start
Manual Handling / Counterbalance Forklift Operative
£13 per hour
Monday – Friday, 7:45am – 4:30pm
Temporary to Permanent

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our client’s team in a manual handling and Counterbalance forklift role.

This position is primarily manual handling, including loading/unloading deliveries and moving stock (up to 25kg), with some forklift duties involved. You must be physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.

!!! You must have your own car – the location is not accessible by public transport. !!!

This is a temporary to permanent role, with a full contract offered after a successful probation period.

What you’ll need:

* Counterbalance forklift driving experience is essential (licence not required – training can be provided internally, and previous company training is accepted)

* Good timekeeping and reliability

* A team-player attitude

* Own transport (location is not accessible by public transport)

* A tidy, organised approach to work

* Willingness to take initiative and help keep the workspace clean, tidy, and organised when needed

The team has a friendly, family-like atmosphere, so they’re looking for someone who will fit in well and take pride in their work.

Hours & Pay:

* £13 per hour

* Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 4:30pm

* 30-minute lunch break plus tea breaks

* Occasional weekend work (day in lieu given during the week)

* Overtime available
