Handballer

Location: North East Lincolnshire

We are currently looking to recruit a Handballer to support our busy cold store operation. This role requires you to work a pattern of 06.00hrs to 19.00 (with flexibility), any 5 days out of 7 but predomionantly Monday to Friday.

Our handballers are key team workers that keep the vital food supply chain flowing. The role is truly collaborative, you will be working as part of a shift team, working alongside the cold Store Operatives, Supervisors and administration teams to ensure that we not only achieve but challenge our productivity daily.

Responsibilities:

* Handballing product on and off vehicles

* Loading and unloading product and stacking onto and off pallets

* Wrapping of product securely to pallet

* Cleaning storage areas

* Check in and store all products correctly and securely to avoid damage

* Working towards individual and team targets

* Ensuring there are no mixed products, checking batch codes and production dates

* Ensure customer products are handled in a safe manner.

* Work as a team to ensure an efficient cold chain service, minimising delays.

Requirements:

* Previous warehouse / cold store experience

* Good communication skills

* Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and reliability.

* Attention to detail
