Warehouse & Facilities Manager / Grimsby / Up to 40,000 per year D.O.E. + Benefits

Blue Sky is looking for a hands on Warehouse Manager who loves leading from the front, so if you have the drive to improve processes, motivate people and make a real impact, this could be the role for you.

We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Warehouse & Facilities Manager to take the lead in a busy and fast-paced operation. This is a genuine boots-on-the-ground role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the operation, drive positive change and build a happy, motivated and high-performing team.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll oversee Warehouse, Production/Rework, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance and Facilities, ensuring the operation consistently delivers high standards of service, efficiency and accuracy.

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse and Facilities Manager:

Leading, motivating and developing a positive and high-performing operational team
Taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse, production and dispatch activities
Driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality and customer service
Maintaining excellent inventory accuracy and stock control
Managing stock takes, cycle counts and resolving inventory discrepancies
Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, housekeeping and operational safety
Managing warehouse facilities, equipment and operational readiness
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and implementing positive change
Coaching and supporting your team to achieve their full potential
Leading from the front and getting involved in the day-to-day operation when needed

What we're looking for:

You'll be a confident and capable leader with previous experience managing a warehouse or operational environment. You'll enjoy being visible within the operation, working alongside your team and taking pride in making things run better.

We're particularly looking for:

Previous Warehouse or Operations Management experience
Strong leadership and people-management skills
A genuinely hands-on, proactive and positive approach
Experience in inventory control and stock management
A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
The ability to motivate people and create a happy, engaged team
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
A valid and current forklift licence – essential
