Client Account Specialist – Lincolnshire, IL

We are seeking a detail-driven, customer-focused Client Account Specialist to support our growing portfolio of clients. In this role, you will serve as the central point of support for our clients, managing everything from quoting and order processing to documentation, invoicing support, and issue resolution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Own the full order lifecycle for assigned corporate accounts, from building accurate quotes and converting them into orders to coordinating documentation and ensuring smooth delivery through production and shipment.
  • Manage all client records within ERP system, keeping information organized, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order status, proactively communicating updates on backorders, mis-shipments, returns, and credits to keep clients informed and up to date.
  • Partner closely with the accounting team to resolve invoicing questions, payment issues, and account discrepancies, acting as a trusted intermediary for your corporate clients.
  • Escalate any urgent or high-profile requests, working directly with purchasing and management teams to drive fast, effective resolutions for key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years’ experience with direct customer support, preferably within manufacturing/distribution.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and accounting databases preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office/Adobe Office products with ability to create/manipulate spreadsheets, produce reports, and generate documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
