Tax Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager, or a Tax Senior who will grow into a Tax Manager. In this role, you will work with our other tax managers to oversee and manage the firm’s tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies for our clients.

• Lead our tax team, including training and mentoring tax staff.
• Research, develop, and implement tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Review federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary financial information for tax reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in managing staff and tax engagements.
• Familiarity with Lacerte is a plus.

We offer great work/life balance with tax season hourly requirements at 55 hours per week and summer hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Non‑tax season schedules are also flexible. We also offer a commission structure for clients you bring into the firm.
