Remanufacturing Program Manager – Hybrid | Lincolnshire, IL

We’re seeking a highly accomplished Remanufacturing Program Manager to drive complex, multi-year remanufacturing portfolios with exceptional precision, strategic vision, and influential cross‑functional leadership.

This full‑time role is based in Lincolnshire, IL (north of Chicago) and transitions to a hybrid schedule after 30 days

About the Role

The Remanufacturing Program Manager leads the full lifecycle of the remanufacturing program—from product selection through delivery—ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and alignment with quality and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic planning to grow the remanufacturing program and support company objectives.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with procurement, engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize processes.
  • Manage product lifecycle from core return through final delivery, ensuring on‑time and cost‑effective output.
  • Develop supplier partnerships to secure high‑quality components and materials.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer insights to guide continuous improvement.
  • Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance across all remanufacturing activities.
  • Oversee budget planning, cost analysis, and program reporting.
  • Lead and develop program staff to achieve performance, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Communicate program updates and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with experience guiding cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing;
    Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field;
    Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in remanufacturing, manufacturing, or program management.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
  • Office‑based role with periodic exposure to production, testing, and warehouse areas.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform occasional bending, reaching, and equipment handling.
  • Travel as needed for supplier visits or program oversight.
  • Use of required PPE in non‑office environments.
