We are looking for a Campus Worship Pastor at Willow Creek’s South Lake Campus to help us build a Christ-centered culture and a dynamic worship experience that truly glorifies God.
Your MissionIn this role, you aren’t just leading songs; you are leading people. In collaboration with our Central Arts & Worship team, you will plan and execute weekend services that move ideas into transformative experiences. Your week will be a mix of creative leadership, administrative excellence, and hands-on ministry including volunteer care and pastoral connections with congregants.
What You’ll Do- Lead the Room:
Serve as the primary worship leader, providing powerful pastoral moments for our congregation during weekend services. - Build the Team:
Spend significant time actively recruiting, training, and discipling our talented volunteers—from vocalists to full bands. - Develop Future Leaders:
Partner with our youth ministries (JHM and HSM) to mentor and develop the next generation of worship leaders. - Collaborate:
Work alongside the Campus Pastor and Central teams to ensure the vision and strategy of Willow Creek are executed with excellence. - Pastoral Care:
Beyond the stage, you will perform vital pastoral duties, including weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and providing crisis care assistance.
- Experienced Leader:
You are a proficient worship leader and strong vocalist with a track record of leading volunteers. - Tech-Savvy:
You have a working knowledge of tools like Playback and Planning Center, with the ability to build and organize tracks. - Growth-Oriented:
You possess a “hero-making” mindset and a desire to see others flourish in their spiritual gifts. - Heart for Service:
You carry spiritual gifts in areas such as Leadership, Shepherding, and Creative Communication.

- Salary Range: $56,000 – $77,000 (depending on experience and skill set).
